These two questions are asked by many of themselves and others. We often have so many questions about topics that have a zillion plus answers - especially when it comes to the internet. This all begins with the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHY and HOW questions.

WHO do you ask?
WHAT should I use?
WHERE should I start?
WHY would they follow?
HOW do I know if it is right?

This all depends on the EXPERT.

If you know more than the next person, that makes you an expert. The person who seeks out the answer with, books from the library, e-books, CD’s, DVD’s, blogs, interviews, articles, online videos, etc…makes himself or herself the expert.

At first I didn’t think I was the expert on something new to me, but immediately changed that thought, when others told me differently. They actually commented on what I said and what I wrote. Does this sound like you?

It’s easier to become an expert in Network Marketing, as long as you follow the system. Most companies have their own system to follow and most companies’ systems have the same basics, with a difference in whether it’s a product or service that they offer. With a product, most will say, “try this sample and let me know what you think.” Most services say to join, become a member and if you are not satisfied you can drop your membership at anytime. Some services may have a special promotion that will help entice new prospects. With sample products, the cost is out of the distributors pocket in hopes to make a sale. As long as that networker knows the basics of the company’s system, that alone makes them an expert.

As an expert, you need to position yourself to be the leader - in your profession or maybe just a leader in the knowledge of what others need to know. The way to position yourself is to create more visuals like public speaking, writing books, etc. An added branding of what makes you an expert include all the testimonials and recommendations you acquire.

If you think you are not a leader, you may be surprised. Brush off what you think may be holding you back and put yourself out there. Taking that first step will open many doors on why we need to know... you. Because You are the Expert!

You are the Art of Information. Position yourself to provide the right communications platform. Be the vessel that can create relationships. Be your own on-going success story. Then share that information. That alone shows that you are THE EXPERT!

Follow The Leader

Wasn’t that a kid’s game?

And then you grow up and guess what, you are still doing it…. Follow The Leader.
But, then maybe the leader is you. Or you may think so, because there is always someone in front. You may not always see or hear the leader, but you still follow and your team follows you. And why are they following? Because; you have the answers, you figured it out, you found the right company, product, service to promote, you are likable, you are well known or you are just one training step ahead of them and in turn they will follow.

As you lead you may take some twists and turns as you move ahead. You are in a company that you love and as your team grows, then another opportunity comes along and what do you do? Follow that opportunity and you tell your team and they follow. As you lead you hope others on your team also develop a leadership role and do the same. As they follow you they have their own followers. Team leaders develop from them and the process continues on.

And who is the leader? The one who takes action, the one who follows the system, the one who’s writing articles, blogs, sending out emails, driving traffic to their websites, the one who talks to people, creates training sessions, webinars, conference calls, the one who always thinks outside the box.

Does it matter what type of business you are in? Not really, because whether you own a brick and mortar business, a home based business or an internet business, there are leaders to follow. You just need to find what is right for you. Maybe you decide that following is not what you want to do, but instead to create something; that others will want to follow. You may feel you are not following anyone else, but you are following something. It may be a type of system, business design, tradition, creative style, an idol, a technique, etc. These are just a few examples. Whatever you think may be new to you, has been created in someway before. You just become the leader in bringing an idea to the world with your twist on it.

The game that was fun as a kid has now become business as an adult. Just remember to have FUN while you Follow The Leader.

And follow the one who can help you become a Leader.

Think before you buy something. Is it something that you really need or is it just going to take up more space.

Even the bags you lug around can be lightened up.

How about all those thoughts? Did those thoughts give you sleepless nights or make your days stressful. Keep lists, ideas and goals written down and it will not way too heavy on your brain.

Simplify your life. In turn, this will bring you better health and good fortune.

Nuggets of Motivational Wisdom

I went to a GET MOTIVATED seminar and here are just a few nuggets of wisdom, that inspired me out of the many speakers that took the stage.

83 year young Zig Ziglar, joked that he was too old to buy green bananas anymore. Here are a few of his words of wisdom: Embrace change as long as change meets your purpose. Everybody needs To Do, To Love, To Hope and To Believe In. Don’t go through life being a spectator. Have goals and dreams and do something at least one time. 3 Rules:
1.) Do Right
2.) Do the Best of your Ability
3.) Show people you genuinely care

Because everyone has 3 questions about you:
1.) Can I Trust You?
2.) Are you committed to Excellence?
3.) Do you Care about me?

Rudy Giuliani spoke about Leadership; how you should have a direction. What are your goals and you should be a problem solver.

Giuliani also said practice before you do. If you practice, whether you are making a speech or playing a game and if something should go wrong you will know the answer because you anticipated it and because you practiced it.

Teamwork: It’s not all about you. As a leader, you should find the people to help you out.
Communication: Teach people how to do it well. People will learn by giving them achievable goals.

Giuliani also said to Motivate though Love. Be there when things are bad, more than when things are going good.

Tamara Lowe says your past doesn’t determine your future. She believes everyone has their own motivational DNA and you need to crack that code. Once you crack the code, you’ll be able to motivate that person. Lowe, also said GET PAST YOUR PAST and Winners Take Action, Loser’s Don’t.

Dr. Robert Schuller emphasized that nothing is IMPOSSIBLE. The word impossible should not even be part of your vocabulary. He said to take the word and cut it out, because whatever your dreams are, it is POSSIBLE to achieve them. He spoke about his daughter, who went back to playing softball after losing her leg. “Never look at what you have lost, look at what you have left, if home runs is what you want”.

The more they follow the higher the ranking. That is how simple, it can be.

The question is how do you get those search engines to follow you? You create your own capture pages, videos, articles, blogs and audio. Along with creating these, you also want to follow and comment other people’s videos, articles, blogs and audio. Join forums and groups on social and business networking sites.

Here are some quick ways to turn your replicated websites into pages people will want to bookmark. There are programs that you can use to create a simple capture page. You can insert a video and a form for people to fill out and receive a gift, a newsletter, etc. If you want to save money you can create your own website for Free. There are several blog sites available that you can pick a theme and make it personalized to what you offer. When you purchase your own domain name, there is also a free website setup. Apple offers the program iWeb.

If you feel you have the money to spend and no time build a website yourself; hire a web designer. Many web designers will also have knowledge of adding those extra tags, keywords etc. to help with SEO.

I mentioned earlier about having an MLM, but you may not have that particular type of business. Search engine optimization works for anyone who has a website and everyone wants traffic to their site.

I haven’t even scratched the surface of SEO. A simple understanding of what you need to do; is to create multiple roads leading to your website. Search engines crawling through the internet looking for your name and all those key words that point to your site; will create those roads. That is the power of SEO.

Just invest $300 and find two people to do the same. They find two people to invest $300 and that continues on and on. As you get pushed up the ladder, you are supposedly paid out large commission. So what are you getting? Well, they say you get a travel membership for deals. Though they are secretive until you invest your hard earned money. They say once you personally bring in X amount of people, who invest their $300, you will be given 'Free': a Car, a Villa, a Yacht or a Plane. Really? Now does this sound too good to be true? Or does this Scream SCAM!

Wouldn’t you want to be a member of a travel company that shows you, right up front the travel packages and all the savings? Wouldn’t you want to be a member of a travel company that has video of people actually on these trips, going all over the world? Wouldn’t you want to be a member of a travel company that you will no longer pay a membership fee after you refer four people? Wouldn’t you want to be a member of a travel company that you can also make a commission: Cruise, Hotel and Car? Wouldn’t you want the luxury of having your own travel agent at your fingertips and wouldn’t it be great to always have a concierge to help out with your travel needs.
