It’s like a secret; as if the marketer is a spider looking to trap the fly into their web. This is why so many, end up standing by the door in search of the people they have invited and never show.
I have been there and like so many others, we immediately start calling, leaving messages and never hearing from these people again. If you do get them on the phone, all you get are excuses to why they can’t make the meeting or why they missed it and promised they’ll come next time. Next time never happens either. Most of the time, this is because you were being secretive about your company.
STOP! If you are ashamed of what you have to offer, than you should get out. You should be passionate about what you have to offer. That is what people want to see. Most of the time it’s not what you have, but it’s why you are part of this company.
I’ve been to some meetings where, I thought the product was just OK, but the people cared about what they are offering. I’ve also been to meetings where, the product looked Great and because I thought the people where only looking to build their down-line, I was turned off.
It has been said over and over, people join people. Build relationships and be passionate about what you do.

You are so right Bonnie! By now I can tell when someone is inviting me to a meeting and trying to keep it a secret.
I never really understood the reason for that. People just get mad when the feel deceived anyway and won't be interested.

Delivering your message to people who aren't aware of what the message is in the first place can be difficult. People become wary of hearing another, "you can get rich" speech. I am so glad that I never have to attend another opportunity meeting.
